Director of Marketing

Description

SyncThink is seeking a creative, passionate, and highly motivated Director of Marketing to join its Customer Success team in the new Palo Alto location. We desire a data driven candidate with a proven track record of brand development and content creation across platforms such as web, video, advertising, social, and digital. This candidate will work closely with sales, customer success, and business development functions to implement systems that create value, retain current users, and measure our success.  This candidate will have the potential to put a marketing team in place that will grow with the business during a critical period. This position reports directly to the Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement long term engagement strategy that supports sales revenue generation and customer retention.
  • Identify and implement programs to support customer success and drive user experience goals.
  • Work as a valued member of the Customer Success team on all aspects of content creation.
  • Collaborate with PR firm to build the brand identity, narrative, and all public facing materials.
  • Provide leadership and mange the marketing team as it develops.
  • Develop and maintain up to date collateral to enhance visual communications for use at meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Work closely with video production group to create future content highlighting technology development and user functionality.
  • Identify strategic marketing opportunities to enhance brand recognition and gain key consumer product behaviors/insights.
  • Implement key metrics and KPIs for understanding engagement impacts, lead generation, and overall exposure.
  • Track and provide monthly updates and reports.
  • Ideate and innovate by staying ahead of trends in key aspects of customer engagement across platforms.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Clear, demonstrated ability to implement strategic vision while managing day-to-day tactical decisions.
  • Proven ability to work as a team player, meet deadlines, and be accountable for work product.
  • Prior experience with sponsorship, strategic partnerships, and social media campaigns.
  • Prior experience establishing initial marketing objectives and measurement approach.
  • Passion for understanding the customer and creating actionable insights about their experiences.
  • Comfort with fast paced, quickly changing startup environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

 

 

 

Executive Assistant

SyncThink, Inc – Palo Alto, CA

Description

SyncThink is seeking an experienced and professional Executive Assistant to join its staff in the new Palo Alto location. The primary function of this position is to support the day-to-day business operations of the sales, marketing, customer success, and business development functions. This includes the logistical coordination of phone calls, schedules, travel, meetings, and event preparation. The secondary function of this position requires administration of the physical office space and its components. Both will require the candidate to possess an outgoing and personable demeanor, be highly organized and detail oriented, and an ability to multitask in order to support the demands of key company executives. This position reports directly to the Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to sales, marketing, customer success, and business development functions.
  • Represent the company well by maintaining positive interactions and relationships with all company personnel.
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and coordinate meetings for key executives.
  • Make travel arrangements and complete expense reports.
  • Review and prepare reports, communications, and decks to support meeting preparation activities.
  • Identify solutions to office related issues impacting business operations.
  • Must be able to interact with customers and other external contacts while maintaining extreme professionalism at all times.
  • Must be able to recognize and handle sensitive company information with extreme confidentiality.
  • Willingness to support company objectives outside of regular business hours as needed.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years executive level support experience.
  • 3+ years office administration experience.
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational, project, and time management skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize and to move quickly from task to task without needing direction.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills required.
  • Comfort and flexibility with fast paced, quickly changing startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
