SyncThink and Daybrook Strategies Partner to Deliver Brain Health Platform to Missouri Athletes

Daybrook becomes first provider of EYE-SYNC technology in St. Louis area

Palo Alto, CA—January 04, 2021— SyncThink, a world leader in neurotechnology with foundational IP in eye-tracking analytics, and creators of the award-winning EYE-SYNC brain health platform, announces today its partnership with Daybrook Strategies of Saint Louis. Daybrook, a joint venture between local providers Advanced Neuro Performance and The Center for Vision and Learning, plan to incorporate the novel eye tracking solution as part of an effort to develop a statewide concussion management program.

The SyncThink platform incorporates a multi-modal assessment battery featuring the FDA cleared EYE-SYNC technology, which uses a modified virtual reality goggle to objectively measure and identify visual impairments. The technology was developed through extensive research over a ten-year period by Stanford University neurosurgeon Jamshid Ghajar, MD, PhD.

“I am very excited to add this new technology for my clinic and the community,” Daybrook co-founder Cheryl Davidson OD, FCOVD remarked. “Having objective information that can be provided quickly and easily for the athlete is of utmost importance in proper concussion care and management.  We want our athletes and patients to recover as quickly as possible, but we also intend to use the Eye-Sync to help us collect baseline information for high school, collegiate and professional athletes so that we can prevent injuries and improve performance.”

SyncThink remains steadfast in identifying unique opportunities for increasing accessibility to its core EYE-SYNC technology, so that more underserved populations will benefit from its objective data and clear insights on recovery, to mitigate risk and further optimize performance.

“We are always looking for partners who are willing to work with us to solve a quality and accessibility issue in their region,” said Scott Anderson SyncThink CCO. “It’s clear that to achieve better outcomes with young people you need a collaborative approach to diagnosis, treatment, and safe return to play, and EYE-SYNC is known for providing high visibility into the effectiveness of each of those areas.”
